What movie ruled box office last Weekend?

In the 16th weekend of the year, Indian cinema dominates the box office in the UAE.

Last weekend, 580,542 cinemagoers bought tickets to watch movies on the big screen in the country. Around 124,541 people watched ‘Aavesham’, an action movie directed by Jithu Madhavan. This made the movie the highest-grossing title of the week.

Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ was another Bollywood movie that sold 121,969 cinema passes in its first week of screening in Dubai and came second at the box office.

The third highest-grossing movie of the week was a Hollywood production titled ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ by Adam Wingard. The film notched up a tally with 91,969 cinema enthusiasts taking the seats.
